Course Conditions are Continuing to Improve
  - As the weather continues to warm up, the course conditions at the Vintage Golf Club are improving every day. The fairways are becoming greener, the greens are rolling smoother, the entire course is looking forward to a busy summer season. Behind the scenes, the course managers and grounds crew are working hard to keep the course in excellent condition for the golfers. From mowing and watering, to maintaining the tee boxes and bunkers, the staff is always making sure that the golfers have the best experience here at The Vintage.

Fun Events are Returning This Season

One of the most exciting parts of the season at the Vintage Golf Club is the return of fun tournament's and competitive events that bring the community together. Golfers from around the area are looking forward to playing in all sorts of events that take part here at The Vintage.

Here is just a list of some events that are happening this summer:
  • Men’s League: Every Wednesday
  • Night Ladies Night: Every Tuesday Night (Starting June 2nd)
  • Content Creator Series: May 28th Par 3
  • Golf Boosters: May 29th
  • Lakes Area Pregnancy Support: June 2nd
  • MN JR PGA: June 30th
  • Verndale Sports Booster
  • July 25th Lakewood Fancy Pants Golf Classic
  • AUGUST 8th & 9th - NEW!!! Member Guest Club Championship
  • August 20th Staples-Motley Wrestling Golf Scramble
  • August 21st The Vintage Senior Open
  • September 4th 3M Open: September 5th (In The Vintage website schedule there is more information and links to sign up for these events!!)
Playing in these golf events gives players the chance to enjoy friendly competition while also spending time with the community, friends and family. With warmer weather arriving and more golfers returning each week, The Vintage is ready to have one of the most enjoyable seasons yet!

New Upgrades Around the Course

The Vintage is stepping into a new season with new upgrades all around the course. One of the biggest upgrades is newer golf carts. We recently added 50 EZ-Go
green carts to the course and it has been a great improvement already. The carts also have a club and ball cleaner and detachable coolers which is something that the old carts did not have. These additions make it easier for golfers to keep their equipment in better shape and also stay refreshed throughout the whole round!

The Clubhouse Expands Its Food Menu

The expanded food menu at the Vintage Golf Club is helping turn post-round experience into almost just as much of a highlight than the golf itself.
The added food options are not only, really good but some of them have really fun names that make it even more enjoyable! Added food options include:
  • Breakfast Quesadilla
  • Loaded Fries
  • Ginger’s Burger
  • Fried Italian Gnocchi
  • The Elote Dog
  • All of the Flatbreads - CB Ranch, Western Brisket, The Elote, The Firebird, and the Vintage Pepperoni
Come out to The Vintage, play a round of golf, and enjoy these great new food options after!!

Golfers Enjoying the Warm Weather

There is something special about seeing the course come alive again in the spring, with golfers spread across the fairways, friends and families out playing together, and laughter filling the whole course. It's a reminder of why so many people look forward to the season every year.

The Season Is Almost Here — And Big Things Are Happening at The Vintage.
If you’ve felt that slight shift in the air lately… you’re not wrong. Golf season is getting closer.
At The Vintage, the off-season isn’t quiet; it’s planning season. It's an improvement season. It’s the time where we look at what worked, what didn’t, and how we can make the experience even better for everyone walking through our doors this year. And we’re excited to share that this upcoming season is going to feel different, in all the right ways.
Smarter Systems. Better Experience.
This year, we’re upgrading how we operate behind the scenes so your experience on the course is smoother than ever.

Introducing Club Caddie — Our New POS System
We’re transitioning to Club Caddie as our new point-of-sale system. What does that mean for you?
 -  Faster check-ins
 -
Streamlined payments
 - Improved tee time management
 - Better member tracking
 - A more modern, integrated golf experience
Behind every smooth round is a system working quietly in the background. Club Caddie helps us operate more efficiently so we can focus on hospitality, pace of play, and service.
Tournament Play, Elevated 🏆 Powered by Golf Genius
If you’ve played in scrambles, leagues, or competitive events before, you’re going to love this.  We’re adding Golf Genius as our official tournament and league management platform. This gives us:
- Live scoring
- Professional leaderboards
- Mobile access for players
- Cleaner event organization
- More competitive and engaging formats
Whether you’re playing in a charity scramble, a league night, or something bigger, this tool allows us to elevate every event we host. And yes — we’re already dreaming up ways to use it.

A Stronger Events Experience
We’re also excited to welcome a new addition to The Vintage team.

Welcome, Mallory Uselman — Event Coordinator
Mallory Uselman will be joining us as our Event Coordinator, helping us grow and enhance tournaments, outings, private events, and special gatherings at the course.  Events are a huge part of what makes The Vintage special. From charity tournaments to corporate outings to community gatherings, having dedicated leadership in this area allows us to:
- Improve organization
- Elevate the player experience
- Build stronger relationships with sponsors
- Create memorable events from start to finish
We’re excited for the energy and organization she’ll bring to the team.

The Big Picture
All of this comes down to one thing:
We want The Vintage to keep getting better.
Better systems.

Better events.
Better service.
Better experiences on and off the course.

Golf courses evolve. Communities evolve. Businesses evolve. And we’re committed to continuing that growth here — without losing the laid-back, welcoming culture that makes this place feel like home. The countdown to opening day has officially begun.
Start texting your foursome.
Start thinking about league night.
Start picturing that first tee shot of the year.

We’ll see you soon.

Welcome to The Vintage Ledger!
A place for golf, community, food, and everything in between.
If you’ve ever played a round at The Vintage, grabbed a drink after league night, or stopped by just to soak in a summer evening, you already know this place is about more than golf. That’s exactly why we’re starting

The Vintage Ledger.
This blog is our way of pulling back the curtain and sharing what makes The Vintage special. From course updates and events to food specials, behind-the-scenes stories, and the people who make this place what it is.

Why a blog?
Because golf courses aren’t just scorecards and tee times anymore.
They’re gathering places. They’re summer traditions. They’re where friendships form, deals get made, and memories happen—sometimes with a great shot, sometimes with a questionable one, and a laugh afterward.
This space will let us:
  - Share course updates and improvements
  - Highlight upcoming events, leagues, and tournaments
  - Talk food, drinks, and creative menu ideas
  - Spotlight members, staff, and community partners
  - Give you a peek behind the scenes of running a modern golf course
  - Offer tips, stories, and the occasional hot take on the game we love
What you can expect:
We’re keeping this casual, honest, and useful. No corporate fluff. No pretending we’re something we’re not.
Some weeks you’ll see:
 - Event recaps and photo-worthy moments
 - New menu items or bar specials you should absolutely try
 - Course condition updates (the good, the bad, and the weather-dependent)
 - Ideas we’re testing, building, or dreaming up for the future
 - Stories from golfers, possibly even you

And yes—sometimes we’ll celebrate a hole-in-one. Sometimes we’ll laugh about a triple bogey. Both belong here.

Want More of Then this?
Whether you’re a member of the course or just following along, we’ll continue sharing the story of owning and operating The Vintage across YouTube, TikTok, Instragram and our Facebook page. This is a look at the real side of golf course ownership, real estate investing, and entrepreneurship—no highlight reels only. That includes golf course operations, pro shop builds, renovations, staffing, financial decisions, tournaments, and the lessons learned along the way, both the wins and the mistakes. Whether you’re a golfer curious about what goes into running a course, an investor interested in real estate, or an entrepreneur building something of your own, you’ll find real numbers, real strategy, and real-life experience here.
Follow along for golf business insights, real estate lessons, and ownership from the ground up.

This is your clubhouse, too.
The Vintage Journal isn’t just our voice—it’s an extension of the community around this course. If there’s something you want to see more of, hear about, or be part of, let us know. The best ideas usually come from conversations on the patio anyway. Thanks for being here, thanks for golfing with us, and thanks for supporting a course that’s proud to be local, welcoming, and always evolving. We’ll see you on the tee sheet—and back here soon.
